Here are the three biggest reasons why

we fail so miserably at weight loss:

Reason #1: We Don't Understand The Real Reason Why We're Overweight

If you were asked (confidentially) about your weight problem, you might point to the unwanted pounds on your hips, thighs, etc. And if you had to come up with a reason for your weight problem, you'd probably use words like "diet," "exercise," and "will power"…or the lack of it.

And your answer would be very reasonable and very logical . . . but also very wrong.


A major clinical research project involving nearly 50 weight loss studies recently made some groundbreaking discoveries about the real reasons we're overweight. Their most important discovery was…

The Weight Loss "Recipe For Success"

The research revealed that:

  • Approximately 20-25% of weight loss success comes from eating the right foods in the right amounts.

  • Another 10-15% of success is the result of getting appropriate (for you) exercise.

  • But an incredible 60-70% of your success depends on correcting the unseen root cause of your weight problem.


What Is This "Unseen Root Cause" Of Being Overweight?

Contrary to what you may think, most people who fail at weight loss are not lazy or lacking in will power. In fact, they usually work very hard to lose their unwanted pounds.


Unfortunately, they work hard doing things that can never solve their weight problem.

The research made it clear that the real reason people fail at weight loss isn't because of diet or exercise, but because they have certain "self-sabotaging" beliefs that are constantly but invisibly undermining their efforts to lose weight.

On the other hand, people who are successful at weight loss have beliefs that are more "self-supportive."


If you have a history of struggling with your weight, this is a point you can't afford to miss: Even if you had the best diet and exercise program in the world, you'd still fail if you had certain self-sabotaging beliefs!

And because these beliefs are largely unconscious, we may not even know what they are! But it's now clear that our own self-sabotaging beliefs are the real, root cause of our weight problem.


And it's now clear that we fail at weight loss because...

Reason #2: We've Been Looking For Success "In All The Wrong Places"

The false belief that obesity is the result of poor diet, inadequate exercise, and weak will power has kept us "barking up the wrong tree" all our lives. But we finally understand these "physical" approaches can never solve our weight problem, because the root cause of obesity simply isn't physical.

What does all this mean to you?


It means that, if you are serious about weight loss success, then you must understand that the real, root cause of your excess weight is your own self-sabotaging beliefs.

Because your self-sabotaging beliefs are mostly unconscious, you can't "see" them. But you can definitely see their unpleasant consequences in your life: unwanted pounds, an out-of-shape body, and a whole lot of wasted time, money, and effort.


One researcher summed up the problem this way:

"Trying to lose weight through diet and exercise alone

is like trying to get rid of dandelions with a lawn mower. Sure, you

may get some temporary results. But until you solve your problem

at its root, it just keeps coming back -- and bigger every year!"

So do we just forget about diet and exercise?


No, they both have a role to play. But now we know it's a secondary role. And if you keep trying to solve your weight problem through diet and exercise alone, you might as well get used to failing.

But there's one more important reason why we don't succeeded at weight loss.

Reason #3: We've Only Been Running On "1/3 Power!"

To understand why Reason #3 is so important, we need to get back to basics -- the basics of who we are as human beings.

You are not just your body. You were created body, mind, and spirit. Together, these three aspects of yourself make you the unique and special person you are. All three are equally important, and all three have a role to play in determining both your health and your weight.

But when you try to lose weight through diet and exercise alone, you're relying entirely on your physical self. The power of your mind and spirit are left completely out of the picture.


Now you're only running on 1/3 power! Fully 2/3 of your God-given resources are being completely wasted! You're like a 6-cylinder car running on just two cylinders.


The result? No power, and a mighty rough ride!

Let me ask you, would you go into battle and leave 2/3 of your army at home? Of course not! Would you write an important letter using just 1/3 of the alphabet? Of course not!

Then how can you expect to succeed at weight loss using just 1/3 of your power?


Only when you bring all your resources to the table
do you finally get control over what's on the table!

…and why that number isn't going to change any time soon. It's all about the three basic reasons we fail. It's all because of those three reasons...

          1. We've Never Understood The Real Reason We're Overweight

And as long as we continue to make these same mistakes, 96% of America's weight loss efforts we will continue to fail. It's really just that simple.

But because you now know what most people will never know, you now have an opportunity most people will never have.
